Note: If presence of rust, dirt, sludge is evident flush the system prior to using Permatex® Head Gasket Repair 1.Allow engine to cool and remove radiator/coolant reservoir cap. Ensure engine is cool enough so the cap can be removed safely. 2. Shake Permatex® Head Gasket Repair well and pour 8 ounces directly into the radiator and/or reservoir. If radiator begins to overflow, pour remainder in reservoir. 3. Make sure the radiator and/or reservoir tank are properly topped off and place the cap back on. 4. Start the engine and let idle for 10 minutes to operational temp. Turn on heat/fan to increase cure speed. 5. Drive vehicle or let it remain in idle for at least an additional 20 minutes. 6. Turn off the vehicle and check radiator levels. If leaking is still evident, use a second application of Permatex® Head Gasket Repair. 7. Mechanical repairs are necessary if leak persists.
