Description

MOLYSLIP ULTRALOK is a specially formulated zinc free two-part epoxy resin thread locking compound for locking casing or tubing joints without welding.

Application

OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) Joints: It is used to lock together various types of threaded pipes, including production tubing and casing joints.
Drill Pipe Connections: It helps secure drill collars and tool joints, ensuring consistent and reliable connections in demanding downhole operations.
Alternative to Welding: It provides a reliable method for locking joints in place where welding might be impractical or undesirable.

Direction to Use

Clean mating surfaces, both pin and box threads, with suitable solvent and allow time to dry. For best results stabilise the product (Parts A & B) at 15 – 25°C (normal ambient temperature). Add Part B to Part A and mix to uniform consistency. Use a stiff brush or putty knife to apply a thin layer to 2/3 of the pin thread section. Make up joint to normally recommended API torques.
