Description

Omega 73 is a special, weather and water resistant open gear lubricant that clings tenaciously in position regardless of wind, rain, sleet, snow, sun, dust storms and other climatic phenomena. It provides the additional protection needed for gears and gear systems that ordinary gear greases fail to provide. Ordinary greases rapidly develop into collective deposits that harden and cause frictional-drag and excessive energy consumption. Omega 73 remains in position and keeps the system and the gears in silent mesh.

Application

Omega 73 Waterproof Open Gear Grease is a heavy-duty, tenacious lubricant designed to cling to gears under extreme, wet, or exposed conditions, preventing fling-off and corrosion. It is ideal for open gears, cranes, winches, hoists, ski lifts, and fifth wheels, providing superior cushioning and resistance to dust, rain, and pressure.
Key Application Areas:
  • Industrial/Construction: Cranes, hoists, winches, heavy construction machinery, and mining equipment.
  • Marine/Weather-Exposed: Equipment operating in rain, snow, salt water, and high-wind environments.
  • Infrastructure: Ski lifts, funiculars, rail pulleys, and cable ways.
  • Transportation: Truck/lorry fifth wheels
