Camp Rust Block Rust Remover Gel 300 ml

PREPARATION The surfaces to be treated must be free of oils, greases, dust and non-adherent or crumbly rust. Mask any parts not to be treated. APPLICATION Apply the product to the surfaces to be treated, with a brush or spatula, focusing on the rustiest areas: Let it act for 5-10 minutes; remove the oxidation with a damp cloth and rinse with water: dry the surface thoroughly to prevent the formation of “flash rust”. If necessary, repeat the operation and let it act longer on the heavy rusted areas. The product must be completely removed during cleaning. Within 24 hours of treatment, the surface must be painted or protected by applying a product that inhibits the formation of new rust. PRECAUTIONS Do not use on aluminium, chromium, copper, zinc, stainless steel, concrete, fiberglass, marble, plastic, painted surfaces or, in general, on acid-sensitive materials. The product can damage paint: if it comes into contact with a painted surface, remove it immediately. It Is not compatible for latex finishes. Rust Block Rust Remover is not a rust inhibitor: after rust removal the metallic surface must be treated with a protector or painted within 24 hours.
