Clean the parts: Ensure all threads (both bolt and hole) are free from dirt, grease, oil, paint, rust, or any other contaminants. Use a cleaning solvent (like a brake and parts cleaner) and allow the parts to dry completely. Prepare the product: Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use. Apply the threadlocker: For thru holes (where the bolt goes all the way through and a nut is used): Apply several drops of the product onto the bolt threads at the location where the nut will sit once tightened. For blind holes (a hole that does not go all the way through): Apply several drops down the female threads into the bottom of the hole. This allows the product to be forced upwards into the threads as the bolt is inserted, ensuring full coverage. Caution: To prevent the nozzle from clogging, do not allow the tip of the bottle to touch metal surfaces during application. Assemble and tighten: Immediately assemble the parts and tighten them to the recommended torque specifications. Torque compensation is not required. Cure: The product will fixture (partially set) in about 20 minutes at room temperature, but a full cure requires 24 hours for maximum strength and performance.
