1.Prepare Surfaces: Clean thoroughly with a degreaser, removing all oil, dirt, and old gasket material. Roughen surfaces with sandpaper for better adhesion. 2.Apply Silicone: Squeeze a continuous ¼-inch bead of the silicone onto one surface, ensuring it surrounds all bolt holes. 3.Assemble: Reconnect the parts while the silicone is still wet. 4.Secure: Hand-tighten bolts until you see the silicone squeeze out slightly. 5.Cure: Allow it to dry for 1 hour, then tighten the bolts an additional half-turn. Let it fully cure (often 24 hours for best results) before use, as it’s a Room Temperature Vulcanized (RTV) product.
